Me & the Corona virus in Salisbury

The hottest day of the year was yesterday at 31d! Last night I had the fan running in the bedroom, It was 25d during the night. I sometimes don't understand why people are complaining as it is summer, I have thrown the duvet back and i'm hoping to wash two of my blankets. The heatwave was mentioned on the news, trains have been ordered to travel at only 20mph in case the rails buckle under the heat.  There was a cobra meeting held because of the heat, they didn't hold one when the Beast from the East was on the way when people's boilers were breaking down all over the UK. A Housing estate in Wennington ( East London ) caught fire in the heatwave on a Tuesday afternoon, some of the houses are now just charred remains.  The 300 residents living there had to spend the night at a leisure centre, up to 20 families were affected and most lost everything they owned.  Nothing like this hasn't been seen since the Blitz.   Chaos in the world at the moment,  Boris Johnson has resigned but will still be prime minister until autumn until they can find someone to take over.  A lot of MPs including the health secretary resigned because they said they lost faith in Boris Johnson, including John Glenn our own MP.  I was going to write a letter to Savid Javid the health secretary, but he resigned so I'm a bit up the creek now so I'll have to put the breaks on that for now.   I went to Bournemouth on Friday as I did my back yet again last Monday, I was only doing toast and had a hypo.  My eyesight went funny and i felt really really hot, it was like someone had lit a match and threw it at me.  I couldn't do my voluntary thing at the museum which really upset me. I still think Waymouth is better then Bournemouth, at Bournemouth people play loud foreign music.  There's more to do at Weymouth, sat on the pier trying to ignore the loud thumpy music from underneath.  ...
