Sat in the garden most of the day because I was so bored stiff.  Our blackbird Bobby sat on the roof singing, there's a Goldfinch who also sits on the TV cable which goes across the garden making the same old chirping noise.  Its a big noise for such a small bird, like an alarm going off; as annoying as that bloody car alarm which went off at Midnight.  I almost rang the police up to report it.  I also keep seeing this wierd beetle which is black with a red stripe on it's back, it crawled up my knee. So  hooked it off and it landed upside down with wriggling legs, so I righted it again and it went off on it's merry way Apparently shops can start opening again from June 8th -15, although Starbucks and Debenhams have closed for good.  I want to go and see my family again, but regulations say I can only meet people outside at 2 metre's; wouldn't work with my parents as they are both deaf and couldn't hear me unless I shouted.   People are doing stupi...

Took my first antibiotic at 8.00 this morning, I kept worrying about it because it has side effects which can cause nausea and I have a fear of vomiting of all things.  Arm still leaking yellow fluid ( I think you can gather what that is ). I read that people now visiting Bournemouth are not using the back if beach huts as toilets!  I knew this woudn't take long since the council have closed all the beach loo's, the owbers must be going bonkers especially as it will attract flie's as well as tourists. Shearings demise Shearings the coach company have gone bust as well as a hotel called the Bay in Newquay, this is what their buses look like.  They were a familiar sight around Salisbury in the coach station.   This is the hotel that will not be opening again in Newquay. I'd often walked past the place, but never taken much notice of it.   It overlooks the private beach which I never go on because the stairs are way too long.  I miss Newquay and bein...

Dusbin men emptied bottles this morning, I heard a voice saying it's too damned early for this !@#$@, your damned right it is! It's been glorious weather, althrough a bit blowy today  Apparently Bournemouth beach was packed Wedneday, I would have loved to gone down but it would have been impossible to socially distance. I recon we'll get another spike, China are already reporting fresh infections, so I hope they will contain it.  I posted another DVD at waitrose, the queau was horresndouse, I walked along Ashley Road photographing Rainbows which people have put in their windows.   I met catherine Dipple (friend from Steamhenge) at the Turkish cafe in the maltings, it's quite popular.  we are both members of a group called Steam punks ( google them ), my hat almost blew off in the draft.  Had ice cream ( vanilla & chocolate ) which I haven't seen for ages, Catherine is such a good friend.  Apparently Nikky ( another friend in Steam Henge ) lost her ...

Believe it or not, but today is the day when Ann Boleyn ( King Henry the 8th's second wife ) was excecuted for treason.  I sat in the garden yesterday reading and watching my windmills spinning in the wind.  We have sparrows who've built a nest in the guttering of the Queens arms pub, one of them likes my feeder that's hanging on the lamp post, but I'm going to replace it with one by Peckish.  They will find it easier to get into, also our blackbird has a nest in oner of the hedge's.   I went to In-Excess the other day, they are a hardware and garden centre just outside the city.  They have dinasaurs ( not real, be amazing if they did ) in the garden.  I saw another plane go over while sat in cathedral gardens, I could faintly hear the engines.  It was heading towards the South West, may be going to the states. I had a Dr's appointment today because I have something wrong with my arm. I saw my parents, I haven't seen them since march and I was dyi...

Today I would have had Safe haven at St Paul's community centre, but because all social places and cafe's have to remain shut I will have to put up with my own company for now.  I have been doing a bit of research into the Spanish Flu compared with the Corona virus of today and have come up with some surprising reults of which I will put on here.   I sold two DVD's on Ebay which is brillient, so from now on this is where thew one's I don't want will end up.  Bit breezy today, our nearest PO is Waitrose, I've heard john lewis could be in trouble, I hope not as they are good.  A lot of businesse's are falling because of the lockdown, one shop I liked in Bournemouth called Gemini and a costume shop in Christchurch have gone into liquidation. How is the pandemic of Spanish flu of 1918 compared with the Coronavirus today of 2010 I tried explaining this before in a post, but a lot of people misunderstood what I was trying to get across. So I’ve laid it out ...

Saturday 9th May 2020

It was another hot day today, I like days like this as I don't do cold. The Government say they are going to promote cycling. What they need to do is sort out the rough roads and improve cycle paths that we already have.  There's been much debate on this on facebook, I hope they carry this one through as it would be much better for the environment.  Saying that, there's some idiots that shouldn't even be on a bicycle, let alone on the road! They speed along pavements, regardless of any pedestrians that are coming towards them. These people give cyclists a bad name, but then some pedestrians are unpredictable and walk out in front of bikes without no warning. I delivered some newspapers up to my parents yesterday morning, I meant to have taken them up the day before, but stupid me forgot them, and left them behind; Yesterday was also VE Day. We should be out there celebrating really, but because of coronavirus all that has gone to pot. Today officially would have been ba...

Thursday May 7th 2020

Lovely sunny morning, I went out to Tesco to get some newspapers for parents and got annoyed because a bloke standing behind me was lighting up and smelling like a walking tobacco factory.  This is one way to spread the virus by blowing out shit from the lungs, I asked him to step back but he kept getting too close, so In the end I complained to one of the security people in Tesco.  They thought I meant he was drunk, I said no, I meant stunk, why is it I get misunderstood a lot? Cycled up parents with things but I forgot the newspapers, so I'll have to go up again tomorrow; stupid forgetful brain I have.  I saw a plane passing over as I was sat in cathedral gardens, i thought all flights had been suspended.  The big cheese is making an announcement on Sunday, not a lot will happen apart from garden center's open which won't make a difference because B and M and The Range have garden center's which are open anyway!  I'm hoping IN-XS will be open. Tomorrow is the ...

Tuesday May 5th 2020

There's days I feel like writing, and days I don't.  Looks like things are going as they are until June, mos of the summer will soon be over and I can't bare the thought of that and not seeing my parents. Awoke to the sound of emergency verhicles going past, sounded like police cars. I did a perscription for Lisa at no 11 this morning, I'm happy to help.  Dot my neighbour is in hospital as she's broke her leg, poor thing has breast cancer.  I met her brother who seems a nice chap, also we have a couple of new black birds visiting ther garden.  Lisa has called them Billie and Elsie, I hope the perigrins from the cathedral leave them alone this time.   I caught my grill alight couple of days ago when I tried to cook some burgers, I finished them off in the oven.  I will have to use my George Forman machine now, as when I tried turning the grill on to do some fish fingers, my electrics flipped so my TV and heating went off.   I went for a walk r...
