I put some kewi kleen drain cleaner down my kitchen plughole last night, it's hard to get now but it's good stuff. The pipe started rumbling and smelly steam started flying in a cloud out of the plughole! I had to wear a mask because the chemical smell was so awful.
The Poultry cross has had decorations hung up, mum says she's not in a chrismassy mood but I'm not letting it run anything; I'm stil hanging the decorations up.
My TV had a five funny minutes last night, I hope it doesn't keep doing that because it helps me relax in the evenings; I don't want it developing a fault.
I talked about my life at infant school and St paul's, now I will tak about when I went to Hibruary school in Hibruary Avenue.
I first went here in 1981, St Paul's said I couldn't graduate with the juniors because of my special needs; looking back on it now they were rubbish at helping peope who had learning difficulties to be honest. They only helped people who were deaf and that was it! I remember a group that used to come down from Exeter House and i was allowed to play with them, I remember the native idian trouesrs I used to wear; I wonder what happened to them.
I had an interview with headmaster Mr Dawson who was my mum's teacher when she was at school, he was red haired and I used to see him about on his bike up Bemerton Heath.
I remember a picture of an owl made out of gold or silver thread hanging on the wall upon a black background and the smell of polish. The first class I went to was Mrs Gibson, it wasn't a big class in those days. The room was kept away from the rest of the other rooms, perhaps we were seen as freaks I don't know.
It was next to the hall which became the dining room during meal times, and also the PE area. The floor was of the old wooden type you don't get anymore; but was fashionable years ago. I believe the school was built in 1924, there used to be a plaque on the wall; I often wonder what happened to it after the building was pulled down.
We used to have a fort play thing in the front playground, but we were never allowed in their; only on certain days. We were allocated a dinner lady called Mrs Hatcher who used to supervise us in that playground which wasn't verey often, as the boys used to upset her.
We had several classroom assistants they were Mrs jackson (expect she's gone now) Mrs Lang who used to live up Alexzander Road, and Mrs Russel whom I still know.
Every mornng we had assembly in the hall before lessons, us kids had to sit on the floor, until my disability came along and I sat on a wooden bench.
