Friday 5th of March 2021

My first milestone is tomorrow when I go at 11:40 to Salisbury cathedral to get my first vaccination. I hope I don't get any nasty side effects from it, I don't mind a stiff arm but I have a fear of being sick and I hate vomiting which is one of my phobias.

Great news today. They are found the individual who has the deadly Brazilian strain, it's been said in the paper that the Oxford vaccination does protect against Brazilian string. I'm praying to God that soon we will get back to normal.

Ever since I started this blog in March of 2020, a lot of things have happened since then and I think I will carry on this blog. It's a lot easier than carrying a heavyweight book around with me.

I used to keep a travel journal whenever I went to Newquay, I used to sit up late writing in it and my wrist used to hurt. Now I can just get on my phone and type it in, or say it and the words appear.

The only fly in the ointment is sometimes the Text-to-Speech mishears me and starts posting annoying gibberish. And I spend the next few minutes correcting all the spelling mistakes.

I had a zoom meeting talk this morning about filmmaking. I found it very interesting as being a photographer I don't do films, but I do take pictures and we talked about aperture and ISO etc.

Brian came round to my house to put up my magnetic knife holder. I was a bit worried in case he had the lurgy, but he has had his first Covid jab, now it's my turn tomorrow.

One of my parents just after 1. Dad was watching a western called Apache run, we have been watching a lot of westerns lately. We watch tipping point at four, both my parents fell asleep; typical.

I finished my Titanic book last night called a night to remember, I have seen the movie with Kenneth more in it but until then I've never read the book.

I am now reading a book called The glass inferno. I have seen the film but I have never read the book, I finished its twin book called the Tower which has an odd ending.

I love reading my kindle, I'm hoping to read a series of books about the American civil war. At the moment I'm going through all the Tom Sleeman books and till I finished all of those, they'll stay safe n the Cloud.

I don't need spooky books on my own at night, because my brain plays overtime and every noise I hear in the house is creepy.
