I had my exercise in Victoria park, the weather was much nicer thankfully although I'll pay for it yet with an achy body.  Aunt Joan and cousin alan come down tomorrow, I don't mind Alan except for his critical nitpicking.  I'll have to hide my webcam from him.

Australia is a green zone now meaning that they have got rid of the coronavirus, but they have problems with thousands of mice swarming about now.  I reckon their lockdown drove them mad, and the little rodents are going berserk now; a bit like us humans.

Getting bad again with the Indian virus spreading in Bolton, been two cases of it in Dorset, I hope we don't go into another lockdown again.  I'm going away the first two weeks of September, so I don't that ruined.  matches Chester, Burnley and Bury are predicted to be hit next, soon as we get rid of one, another variant comes along! Bolton has the highest rate and Boris had said that June 21st looks in doubt now and restrictions may have to wait.

I went for a walk to Elizabeth gardens but came back because my left hip started becoming sore.  I love the summer it's one of my favourite seasons.  I booked tickets for me and Alan to go to Jane Austen's house in Chorley and Marwell zoo, what a nightmare.  One wouldn't let me get to the payment page, while the other took several attempts to get through!

It says in the paper that people who died in the epidemic need not have died, which sadly is true.  The government dithered and took far too long in closing the borders, elderly patients were sent back to nursing homes to spread the virus thus killing more people there.
They were knowingly being sent into care homes with Covid-19, no wonder people are angry.

One care home in Sheffield closed down because most of the residents had died, and a lot of the staff tested positive for the virus. One staff member said a once bustling place is now so quiet, it's horrendous.  they are also saying in the papers that Mr Johnson and other senior ministers had caused the unnecessary deaths of thousands.

People couldn't say goodbye to their dying relatives, as many care homes banned relatives from coming.  Only phone contact was allowed and that's not suitable, especially if there's no one to answer the phone because the staff are too busy; many lines were left ringing and ringing until it was too late.
