 The south and south-west of the UK are going through a heatwave at the moment, it was like an oven last night in my flat.  Mum said the bin was hot when she arrived on Sunday morning.  I went to Waymouth on Saturday, it was lovely.  the train was almost full until we got to Bournemouth then most people got off, the air conditioning on the train is better than the buses which are stuffy and horrid.  I got talking to the guard and I told him about autism etc, seemed a nice chap was in the RAF.

Monday has been nicknamed Freedom day, but I think the government ministers are making a huge mistake, cases are rising again.  On the news a crowd of people waited outside a nightclub in London until Midnight to get in, a woman cut a red ribbon and they all ran inside.  I think it's stupid and David Cummings the minister said we could all be in lockdown again in five weeks!

Boris Johnson is in isolation again as the Foreign secretary proved positive for the Delta virus, also interfering with the Tokyo games as a passenger proved positive the same plane as the athletes.  they now have to isolate for 10 days.

found my usual cafe in Weymouth, I much prefer Weymouth to Bournemouth, sat round the back towards where the bridge lifts, had a pink parasol umbrella I was dressed in pink entirely.

I went into Boots because the third finger on my left hand is infected, I put magnesium sulphate on it now.  Stupid fabric plaster keeps falling off.

The news ended last night by saying Freedom Monday, stay safe and look after yourselves.  But most stupid people simply won't care and we'll be thrown back to square one again.
