Apologies for taking so long to write, lots has happened in the past few weeks.
The trains went on strike nationwide last Tuesday, so I had to get up early to get the Bath bus. I had another headache at about 4 pm, seems to throb worse a bit after taking one paracetamol and one Nuraphen express. Looks like the planes may be going on strike too, London underground has already followed suit
We go through some lovely villages, a lovely hot day today. The trouble with the bus is that I get to Warminster too early, so I have to hang around for an hour.
We talked about designing a house for disabled people today, I also looked at it from an environmentally point of view. Got the bus back at 3. pm, stupid headache came back, so took more pills.
The Russians bombed a shopping centre today, I don't know why because it didn't mean anything to them. There were lots of people inside, it's discriminant what they are doing! Also, the government is having this summit in Germany.
I had a cycling proficiency test which was very good, I only hope the instructor didn't think I was a twit. We went to Stratford village and practised three-point turns, & passing parked cars.
I get nervous trying to turn round on my bike, always worrying I'll fall off. I have mobility issues with my men's bike. Got a Ladies Claud butler which I tested in Churchill Gardens.
Got my bike from the salvation Army, they said don't worry our expert engineer checked over. So I took it to Stonehenge cycles and the test which should have cost me £50 turned out to be an extra £40! The brakes had worn low, & things needed tightening up. Well, their so-called specialists didn't spot that did they?!!
I'm reading a book about the r101 airship, it's very interesting and scary. The airmen who died returned to speak through a medium called Eileen Garrett. She was the Doris Stokes of the 1930s, there are so many interesting books on Kindle.
I love the hit weather, bit rainy today so I hope hot weather returns. I went to Weymouth which was a lovely day out, it was like being in Spain.
