I'm listening to a John Barry song ' we have all the time in the world ', but do we? I find myself thinking about Teignmouth, and how I would like to be there. But I'm looking for a world that no longer exists, hasn't since I was 8 years old. I went to dig In talk @ the Playhouse today, it was about stones; exciting not. The Playhouse Had lunch with Annamaria and Catherine in Charlie's kitchen. Lovely restaurant in Endless street, used to be The Progress bar. Bit worried as Catherine was late, food was lovely. Went up the hospital for a scan, they didn't see anything wrong. Prolapse only shows when I stand up.  Watched the bad skin clinic with mum last night, got her into watching it now. Alan is now picking us up on Dec 19th, as he can't get time off work. So I got to get a refund for dance party, haven't told Annamaria as she'd go off on one! It was the budget today, don't know whist's happening. Bus fare gone up by £1 that's all I ...

My folder arrived, so I've now put some of dad's comics in it. He also has Robin Hood books, with Richard Green which was once very popular. I can't stop crying, I miss him so much. I'm never selling these books, they'll go to a museum after I've gone. Some Christmas stuff is in the shops, but I'm going to hate it. Dad's no longer here to enjoy it with us. Fisherton Street is finally finished, they've put a Padding Bear on one of the benches in front of the infirmary. He's very popular, how long before he's vandalized? I still remember Clifton Road, the smell of the gasworks. I used to stand at my bedroom window which overlooked the back garden. I was supposed to be in bed all tucked up, but I saw dad having a ciggies by the outside WC.  The glow lighting up, the outside WC had a light; no wonder people had chamber pots.  Wouldn't fancy braving the bad weather to relive yourself. Then there used to be a ruined building owned by the gaswor...

Last Friday afternoon I keep seeing floaters in my left eye. I was at the Vinyl café @ the Playhouse; was told to ignore it. I made an appointment at Spectsavers, who put in eye drops and scanned my eye. I could see the black spot or spots on the photo, so they sent me to the eye clinic up the hospital. This is worrying, as my dad had a detached retina in his left eye. He was sat in his chair when the vein went! I don't want that. They put in eye drop which sent my left to sleep, then put in a shield. Apparently there are floaters which were lasered, felt very strange. Everything was hazy afterwards. I'll be back in 2 weeks, they may have to do it again.  Dad once told me in 1968, while in Teignmouth on their honeymoon. That he went for a walk along Teignmouth seafront, and there was a huge silvery moon shining across the water creating a sparkling path.  I suspect it was what we call a Hunters moon, when we are all reunited again; I'd like to see that moon. Everyone comme...
