Apparently there is a deadly heatwave in Europe, in Salisbury it's apparently boiling which I'm not looking forward to coming back too.  There are some lovely gardens in Cornwall, a lovely place to sit you get that villagy feel with the sea views thrown in. I hate being in Salisbury, it's not so easy to get out for the day not without Annmaria getting stroppy because I've gone elsewhere on my own without her.  I used to have a life before she came along. Went to Falmouth for the last time this year, went to their lounge for lunch and  sat near a window overlooking the street, I'm going to miss the call of seagulls; occasionally I may here it in Salisbury but it won't be the same.

It's July already, why does the time fly past when I'm in Cornwall.  There's a documentary called 'Aliens, why are they here?'  One of the questions is ' do they holiday in Cornwall?'  No they go to Margate in kent, how boring is that. Me and mum had a lovely Cornish afternoon tea at the cafe at the top of the harbour, consisted of Salmon and cucumber sarnies and one scone with jam and cream.  Apparently Chris Pierce of Digs in't happy I've gone away, tough!  She wanted to pick up some photos Saturday for a tombola Digs are having, I'm fed up up of being told what to do and ordered about, like AnneMaria.  I used to have a life before I met up with her, she gets the hump if i go to places on my own without her,  Tries to muscle in on other people's affairs.  Why doesn't she mind her own fucking business and get on with her own family, her youngest daughter is getting annoyed with her. Me and mum sat in the harbour afterwards, its strange ...

Breezy here in Newquay, time seems to be flying past as usual.  We got here ok, they put us in First class at Westbury.  Since then we have been to the zoo and I showed mum that Italian restaurant Tuesday which has the sea views.  I can't go fast this year because of mum's mobility issues.  The weather has been hit and miss, should be better next week.  Hoping to go to Falmouth today, went to Perranporth yesterday, there was a school group getting on the coach, seemed like they  were  down from the Midlands; also a lot of Yorkshire people down here it seems. When I last came here Andrew and Rachel had a lovely Jack Russell, but she died six weeks ago, still feels strange that dad isn't with us in Newquay.  I saw a robin at the zoo, and a red Admiral butterfly by the bus station.  Supposed to mean spirits are near, maybe it was dad.  Why do things have to die? The shower is lovely, I have to remember to turn the taps towards the left for ...

I feel a huge responsibility on my shoulders  Me and mum leave on Saturday for Newquay, and I'm looking g after mum. I have arranged everything,  so I hope it runs smoothly Had a talk about The Young gallary at the history talk in library upstairs. I wanted to go to Chaplins in Boscomb on Friday, but mum got upset. I'm a bit fed up, I'm her carer now dad's gone, but it's becoming too much. At my age (51) I feel i should go places without having to report to anyone! I spend weekends up there but she wants me to go up every bloody night. I love mum but I'm starting to get burnout, it's left soly up to me to deal with everything. Mums getting worried about the gardener, but I'll sort it out. I done some weeding in the community garden. Thankfully we were in the shade, somone was on their front lawn sunbathing.  On the news it appears there's faults with Air India planes. Most people are scared to fly at the moment.

First fathers day without dad, I'm trying hard not to be sad.  Thers a motor show on in the market square. Lots of raving engines, sounds like Silverstone or Branshatch. Thers a few American cars in, including g a huge Rang Rover type pickup. The weather is brilliant today, I wish it was June all year long. Sad news on Thursday. A London bound Boing (always a Boing type) 787 dreamlike crashed in India.  The plane struck a medical college hostel when it fell in a residential area of the northwestern city of Ahmedabad minutes after takeoff, killing 241 people on board. Except one man who was at the back of the plane! And one woman who was refused to board, be ause she was ten minutes late; that refusal saved her life. That man who survived (always British  national) will most likely suffer nightmares, PTSD and terrible survivors guilt. He's in hospital recovering, there were a lot of British Indian people onboard; at least 241 souls. Relatives of the crash victims gave DNA ...

I have started updating and adding pictures to my blog. I would like people to see what I'm talking about, in case they don't exist anymore. Things vanish, like that French restaurant in High Street.  I wasn't impressed when I went there one Tasty Tuesday.  Me and Annamaria went to Alpinos in The Canal which does ( or did ) Italian food.  That's now disappearing, being replaced by some awful nightclub.  Went to have my ears sucked out today at Sarah Luckman's in Queen Street. Ear wax the size of bullets, only problem is my right ear tends to Block again. Did the quiz at The Old Ale House in Crane Street. Some of the questions were hard, didn't quite understand the picture round.  It's nice to see the sun setting late, off to Milestones tomorrow.

Climate change is being seen in Antarctica,  it's been on the news that glaciers are collapsing; yet idiots still deny its happening! There's a ship out there called The David Attenborough, they've nicknamed it ' Macboaty Macboatface ' daft name I think. Donald Trump has riots in Las Angeles, when he brought in martial law against immigration.  He's due to visit England soon; God help us. I didn't go to U3A in Harnham, I was waiting for the bus, and I saw Yvonne and her dog. He's so cute, but he getting older. I had 6 minutes left, but I ran back to mums house to use the loo. I hate it when it suddenly comes on. I am having my ear done tomorrow in Queen Street. Damp things blocks up again after a week. I've also got a stiff pain between my shoulders which is annoying, probably what kept me awake last night. I didn't sleep to well last night. I had a weird dream about dad. He came to visit me, but as he left, his clothes seemed to vanish right dow...
