First fathers day without dad, I'm trying hard not to be sad.

Thers a motor show on in the market square. Lots of raving engines, sounds like Silverstone or Branshatch. Thers a few American cars in, including g a huge Rang Rover type pickup.

The weather is brilliant today, I wish it was June all year long.

Sad news on Thursday. A London bound Boing (always a Boing type) 787 dreamlike crashed in India.

The plane struck a medical college hostel when it fell in a residential area of the northwestern city of Ahmedabad minutes after takeoff, killing 241 people on board. Except one man who was at the back of the plane! And one woman who was refused to board, be ause she was ten minutes late; that refusal saved her life.

That man who survived (always British  national) will most likely suffer nightmares, PTSD and terrible survivors guilt. He's in hospital recovering, there were a lot of British Indian people onboard; at least 241 souls.

Relatives of the crash victims gave DNA samples at the the Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad, to help officials formally identify those killed.

Whole families have been wiped out, what the hell happened to make it crash?

They have found the black box (orange?) Which will hopefully explain what happened.

Me and mum went onto a fate at the Canonary in Cathedral Close. I've been before and the gardens are lovely with a river at the bottom.

I didn't enter the raffle, some of the prizes were: See Lady's Chiteshire's camels. They were paraded down High Street, probably christened it too.

A bottle of wine, tea for 2 and a hanging basket. What can I do with that?

On the news the authorities had to evacuate Five Rivers leisure centre, and call in the bomb squad.

Someone found a hand grenade in the river, hope no one was in the showers.
