It's July already, why does the time fly past when I'm in Cornwall. There's a documentary called 'Aliens, why are they here?' One of the questions is ' do they holiday in Cornwall?' No they go to Margate in kent, how boring is that.
Me and mum had a lovely Cornish afternoon tea at the cafe at the top of the harbour, consisted of Salmon and cucumber sarnies and one scone with jam and cream. Apparently Chris Pierce of Digs in't happy I've gone away, tough! She wanted to pick up some photos Saturday for a tombola Digs are having, I'm fed up up of being told what to do and ordered about, like AnneMaria. I used to have a life before I met up with her, she gets the hump if i go to places on my own without her, Tries to muscle in on other people's affairs. Why doesn't she mind her own fucking business and get on with her own family, her youngest daughter is getting annoyed with her.
Me and mum sat in the harbour afterwards, its strange dad not being with us. The sky was a bit gray, we did the nature trail in the morning. I have to go along at mum's pace which is a crawl, she's worried the front wheel of her walker will fly off if we walk too fast. Had to put some DW40 on the front wheel as it started squeaking, I'm restricted to what I can do this year like going to a car boot because mum would have to walk in a field.
Went to Padstow yesterday, I forgot my sunglasses. The sky was gray with a slight drizzle but it started to clear as we approached Padstow. A lot of people have brought their dogs with them as kennel's are far too expensive, like hound of the Baskervilles crossed with Crufts. The Jubilee Queen was in also the speed boats, sat in our usual cafe, lot of Americans visiting. The buses seem to old fashioned compared to the electric one's we have, the engine can clearly be heard going along.
Our returning bus got stuck at Holywell bay because some idiot had parked their car on the bend and the driver couldn't get past, so some kind Yorkshire gent got off and directed the driver past; we all clapped when he got back on. I'm going to miss this next week, apparently its 35d in warmth in London, just right here but its very warm in Salisbury and we have to go back to it....
Went to the Lighthouse and saw 'Megan', this is about a robot girl; I have seen 2 of the franchise now. It was darkish when me and mum left, drizzled again and the street was quiet apart from the Central pub which is always busy. The sea looks dark, unlike Teignmouth where you can see the lights of the fishing boats on the horizon.
