Monday blues

Brian called this morning which I was s bit worried about, but he apparently had no symptoms and says the virus isn't in Salisbury yet; I'm still suspicious.

We went down a very quiet Southampton Road. Usually it's bumper to bumper but it was almost deserted today, garages and hopefully bike shops are still open.

We have up on Tesco, there was metal barriers all over the car park and long queues of people waiting to get into the store. So we headed towards Waitrose, which was just as bad, so we decided to go to Aldi.

I'm quite impressed with Aldi, there was a queue we got inside quickly. Some people  had masks on, wore my neck scarf which makes my glasses steam up.

The government are saying that this might end up being 6-months in lockdown, I think that would completely drive me up the wall. I'm still trying to explain to my dad why I can't see him or mum, but  they don't seem to understand.

Brian kindly helped me dry up my DVD player, I couldn't buy anymore as CEX is closed.

A mass grave in Brazil

China should be brought to book when glad I'd all over, live animal markets belong to the mediaeval period. This is the 21st century we don't need to live like that anymore.

1,408 have died in the UK now,I 9,000 are I'll in hospital. The nightingale hospital in London opens tomorrow. Apparently Prince Charles out of isolation and doing well, until it comes back again and by then he will have affected other people.

I'm going to walk to Salisbury District hospital tomorrow to pick up some medicine, I'm not taking the bus because it's too risky. I was worrying about that last night, but it seems to be ok.

I watch classic Star Trek every day, it takes my mind off this damn coronavirus.
