Tuesday 31st march 2020 - weather, sunny with clouds

I heard a helicopter fly over early this morning towards the hospital, they are flying supplies in, there are stories about NHS staff not getting enough protective equipment.

I went out this morning to Poundland hoping to get a pasta packet, but they had none.  The shop was almost deserted, again no toilet roles.  Paid some money into the bank, they only allow essential transactions now which is frustrating.  Found what I wanted in Tesco, they have boundry tapes on the floor showing how far away from people I should stand.  each time I get my shopping home, I go over it with a disinfectant spray.

I have a lot of respect for the NHS who work so hard saving people's lives.  Boris Johnson said it would get much worse before it got better, everyday the papers report more death's in Wales and Scotland.  The death toll is now 1,789 people.  Also the stockpiling idiots are now in for a nasty surprise, as it's attracting pests like rats, mice and ants; and the occasional neighbour....

Rats are carriers of a variety extremely dangerous illnesses

I was so angry yesterday because these so called stock pilers (panic buying wankers) stripped the shelf leaving nothing for anyone else. Then dumping food which is out of date!  People don't know how to store food, because they don't teach cooking at school anymore, so we now have a generation of thicko's who don't know how to store food!  Then there was a photo in the newspaper yesterday.

You can make bread pudding out of stale bread adding custard and saltanas, and trifal bases out of old cakes, just add jelly and custard.  That wasted food could have gone to someone else, yet it was grabbed by selfish assholes who just don't care.  And the problem of rubbish piling up outside our homes is made even worse by councils cutting back on bin collection services during the pandemic.

Wheelie bins overflowing with fresh food - huge amounts of extra household waste are being generated as many people are isolated or working from home
Erin called which was nice, I could do with a friendly voice.  Erin is a part of St Paul's church and is stuck with her parents in Manchester.  Boris Johnson (PM) who was in isolation wants to come out Friday, despite being told by a DR he should stay away from people for another week.  maybe people will avoid him!

Peter Andre's son Junior has coronavirus symptoms which must be scary for the whole family, he does look like hsi father; some say I look like my grandmother.

I walked up to the hospital as I needed more medicine, doesn't take long to get there.  The only thing I don't like is that damned noisy Newbridge Road, why did they park a hospital onto of a hill?  Because it was an isolation hosiptal built by the Americans in 1944, the old bit still stands and is haunted by the sound of American voices heard late at night.

I can hear the larks in the bushe's and it is springlike, apart from the breeze which is a bit parky.  I can see Sarum castle battlements from the hill, I think you can see the hospital from the castle with a good pair of binoculas.  Penny rang me, I mentioned video calling her one day, but I don't think she understands what I mean.

I know have to bang on the door of family Planning, I can't walk in anymore.  I was given two boxes, its better then nothing.  Sat on a bench on the way back, when the sun comes out it warms my back I still have that lump under my right armpit; they won't treat me yet as the Corona virus patients have to come first.

Here is something I found today.

The 'Give peas a chance' graffiti has been removed from a bridge over the M25

Coronavirus: M25 graffiti replaced with 'Thank you NHS' | The ...

This is amazing, I've put my name down to help the NHS.  I think the Nightingale hosiptal is going to open very soon.
