I haven't writen in a while but things have happened. All the pubs, resturants and bars etc have to close by 10am now because the virus is rasing again, and I'm worried sick. Also Dublin has gone into lockdown and panic buying is startting again. Everywhere must do the track and trace, even weatherspoons, althrough I sat outside. I hope to God we don't have another national lockdown, These infections are caused by all the idiots who swooped to Bournemouth and other beaches no doubt during the summer.
All retail staff will have to wear face coverings, I notice some people who work in Tesco don't. People are being told to work from home if they can, apparently 5 aside football is banned; I thought it already was. People are only allowed to have 15 guests at their weddings and I can still meet my parents which is brillient. I was worried I would have to stay away from them again, I am NOT spencing Christmas on my own like I did at easter. that was terrible, the welfare phone call isn't enough! Birmingham, Manchester and Newcastloe can't meet their reletives at all. It will be £200 for flouters and there's many idiots who do ignore the rules.Assholes who refuse to self isolate wil be fined 10,00, and quite rightly too!
I can see a lot of Christmas parties being canned from Hotels, resturants and pubs and they will lose money. Pizza Hut in Blue Boar Row is closed for good, as is Burger King in High Street.
Why don't the supermarkets put a restiction on how much people can buy? Last time the panic buyers ruined it for everyone, what is it about bloody toilet roll? Lets hope the virus stays up North!
I fell off my bike on Saturday while trying to navigate broken bridges, it's my own fault. If I'd cycled on I would have prevented the pain I'm in now, but stupid me ignored my gut feeling. I had dinner up parents and wanted to go to In-Excess and thought it would be quicker to go via broken bridges. I will never cycle along there again. My front tyre hit the first lege of the bridge but my back tyre didn't and I was thrown towards the left in a ditch. My foot was pinned under the saddle, I managed to get out and had a horrid pain in my neck, thank God I was wearing my helmet. I rang 111 who asked me a series of questions, then advised me to go to the walk in centre which was open. I was so angry with myself, I now have cuts of my ankle and leg. I had to wait outside the walk in centre then they kicked me out the door to do a phone consultation, because my tempreture which they tested three times was a bit raised. Got told to go up A and E, I was worried sick I'd broken my neck without realising it. My parents have enought to put up with without having me to worry about, so I didn't tell them.
I knew I was in for the long haul, so I took my kindle and a book with me. Arrived at 3.30 and was told there was a four hour wait, I wasn't seen until 10ish. Chatted to a woman in a scarlet dressing gown who had an argument with a hose, she was in a lot of pain. Beauty and the beast was being shown on the tv and my neck felt like a beast, also a small child with his father waiting to have a nasty thorn pulled out. My nexk still hurts but not as bad as saturday night, my bacl problems don't help. I got a taxi home, as it was too late for the bus.
Saturday night was Hell and I couldn't sleep properly, I was all over the bed. The skies were busy with planes going over, my flat must be under the flight path from JFK airport to heathrow.
Some of Dot's gardening stuff is being distributed out, I got rid of a lot of video's and cassettes; no one uses them anymore and the charity shops won't take them.
Barbara (a girl I know in Lifestyle's) rang me up to ask me how she can get on the council housing list, her mother won't let her move out as she's too controlling.
