Apologies for the delay in writing further, sometimes I don't have time to go near my PC; I sometimes use my phone but it's so awkward that the screen turns off or it mishears me and types rubbish.

A urine infection started on Thursday, I didn't take much notice hoping it was nothing but it flared up on Friday when I was at Southampton Road going to B and M, so I had to dart into the Range toilets.  Bot is so bad now because I have been drinking gallons of Cranberry juice and water but I have still made a Dr's appointment to see if it's gone.  I have to drop a sample bottle off and ring by 4 pm to get the results, taking the piss really; har har!

Stayed Sunday night to Monday at parents, just as well I did.  Dad had a bad night Saturday, mum seemed a bit teary I hate it when that happens.  The nurse came because his tube got blocked again, it's always the nighttime one.  Had to help him get out of the chair at bedtime, then I had a bad night after that.

The bed in the spare room is like sleeping on an ironing board, I got up last night and put a bedspread across the mattress.  It's an orthopaedic one which puts too much pressure on my back because it's too hard, used to be mine when I first moved into my flat and was one of the reasons I got rid of it.  I'm now looking and getting a memory foam mattress topper from Argos or the Range.

A care home in Hampshire has lost most of its elderly residents to Covid, the building must be half deserted thanks to the Chinese virus.  The government have now decided to close all flights into England because once again the virus has mutated in Brazil.  They should have done this in March but our stupid government were too slow again, as usual, 89,860 should have gone to Heaven since the Plague began and nothing will bring these people back.  Every day on the news we are told people are dying or becoming infected schools could be kept shut until Easter!

My dad has received a letter about his covid Jab, we tried ringing Three swans surgery this morning but they kept having an engaged tone.  It will be done at Salisbury cathedral where someone will be playing the organ, I'll ask for 'I do like to be beside the seaside when it's my turn.

I have a thing about the Edwardian era and the 1940s, I feel I had a past life during them.  Sometimes I catch glimpses of things I can't explain.  Attitudes were different then, my grandparents on my father's side were alive during the 1940s.

Storm Christoph is on the way, I hope it's not too bad in Wiltshire, I've moved my big greenhouse inside the shed as the bloody thing kept blowing over!

I'm reading a book called the towering inferno, called the Tower it has more in it than the book.  The film has Steve MacQueen, Fred Astair, Richard Chamberlain Paul Newman and many other famous actors.  I think the book is set in 1974
