I have started watching Enterprise because Star trek TNG has finished for the season.  I'm enjoying the program Enterprise was the first-star ship to use the transporter and the new warp engine by Zefram Cochrane in 2063, the fastest it went then was warp 5, in TNG (The next generation) it can go as fast as 9.

Enterprise is set 100 years from now and this could happen in the future so we shouldn't laugh.  Years ago I would have thought my phone to be futuristic, but I take it for granted now.  Enterprise was also wary about the transporter, but they used it to rescue captain Archer.

Richard Branson's mother sadly died of covid a day before she was meant to have the vaccine they are saying that Salisbury cathedral may be used as a vaccine centre.  Restrictions have got tougher because of the stupid flouters, I am now wearing a mask even when I go into the supermarkets, as I don't want to catch anything.  Tesco now has security on the door in Castle Street, I hope they don't start the q-in system again.  Now if people don't wear a mask, they won't be allowed in unless you are exempt for a very good reason.  I am but the virus can still get you, it doesn't understand autism.

The government are thinking of closing markets which won't be so good for Salisbury.  I'm really scared of catching Covid, I have two parents to think about and I don't want them catching it!  They're even talking about a 6 pm curfew-like they have in France.  The queen had her first jab and she seems ok.

I have two things to pick up at the PO and they were closed yesterday!  It was nice seeing the ladies at the haven Zoom meeting.  Coming back from parents on Sunday, my rear light wasn't working, so I took the risk of coming back with only my front light.  Took it to the shop, turns out I didn't press the button hard enough, stupid me.

I'm curious to know how grandad avoided the Spanish flu, it must have been terrifying then.  Zoom wasn't about and people had no choice but to go into work, apparently symptoms including lips and fingers having a shade of blue before turning black.  With Covid, it's a loss of taste and smell and stories about a rash.
