I saw my friends James and Rachel at the bus stop by the clock tower. He had the Pizer jab at the cathedral, when am I going to get mine?
Sat upstairs as the bus was busy, I want to photograph an NHS sign I've seen on Tournament road. Mum said she heard a loud bang the other night which woke her up with a jump, it must have been loud for her to hear it as she is deaf. She thought it was in the room, dad said he never heard anything.
An unexploded bomb was found on Saturday at Exeter uni on Friday. So lots of people had to evacuate their homes, while the bomb squad came out. The explosion was probably heard right across Exeter, that's just one bomb that must have been terrifying during a raid.
Hitler wanted Exeter raised to the ground, but we stood firm. The Luftwaffe used Salisbury cathedral as a marker point on their way to London and back. The red spire light was turned off to confuse them.
The red light can be seen all over Salisbury. Grandad was a fire watcher during the war up the spire. Water flooded up through the cathedral floor then, the cathedral is built upon faggots and rushes and was once boggy ground. The spire leans towards Harnham village, so is the Winchester cathedral spire.
The view must have been stunning during the war, and grandad would have been in a good position to see the fires.
Salisbury marketplace was fired upon by a lone Messerschmitt one Tuesday, the same bastard tried to fire upon my great granny Brown. She was hanging out the washing and ran for her life up the garden path to the back door with bullets following her. There was holes in her back window for years, which she couldn't afford to repair.😦
The plane was travelling along Fisherton street, it was eventually shut down. Some people ignored the sirens when they went off.
Teignmouth in Devon was bombed because of the docks the racket was heard by people as far away as Dawlish and Starcross. I should think Exmouth would have heard it too.
Something got hunted last night, I heard an animal-like squeal up the old park, there is a tawny owl resident in Bemerton heath as I've heard it hooting.
Does this person not bloody care, I hope to god they find this person soon. the new strain is called PI.1 and is resistant to the vaccines, it was discovered in Brazil.
