France and Germany are experiencing a 3rd wave of the Chinese virus, so from midnight tonight, both countries are going into another lockdown.
They had stopped the Oxford vaccination because it was causing fatal blood clots in some people. but it has been deemed safe so they have carried it on, but this could be what is causing this new fresh wave.
Cousin Alan and Liz are having their first hand on Saturday, I don't know which ones they had it could either be the Pizer or the Oxford. Boris Johnson had his jab today.
Was coming up on a single-decker bus yesterday. As soon as we got to Folly hill, the bus starting having trouble getting up. I thought at one point that the driver would ask us to get off and push! A Woman getting off said to the driver but he was having problems with his clutch, I thought no he was.
I'm enjoying watching a program called Terror on BBC iPlayer. It's about two ships that set off in the 1840s to find a passage through the Arctic to China. They get stuck in the ice, then get picked off one by one by a horrible polar bear. It's very atmospheric and directed by Ridley Scott who I think did alien.
My back is still playing up, when I wake up in the morning this is how. So now I take a painkiller before I go to bed, seems to work and I've ordered more from Superdrug pharmacy. I used to go to Wells pharmacy but they messed up my prescription, or someone did so I changed pharmacies.
A neighbour over the road is having a roof replaced. It's quite an old building dating from the 1600s, and once used to belong to the White Hart hotel. The roof has a dip in the middle and the owners who lived there every time they leave the building slammed the door, it's a wonder that the house hasn't collapsed.
I'm used to seeing birds perching on the roof, lately, I've seen blokes wandering around the top of the roof and I think to myself 'that's funny looking birds.'
The cycle lane has been removed from Brown Street and Exeter Street. Nobody uses it. I've only used it once that was about all, waste of money putting them bollards in the first place.
