Sunday 9th May 2021

Yesterday was not a day to go out, it was very wet and windy. My dad likes game shows and watches them all afternoon, I don't mind them. Also watches westerns. I'm getting to know some of the actors now like Audie Murphy, John Wayne and Randolph Scott. Gran liked John Wayne and Indians with their bows and arrows. She would have loved Dances with Wolves, an awesome film. Norman Wisdom films gran liked.

Saw an old friend at the bus stop today by the clock tower called Diane, who was with her husband. She used to be at the day centre with mum, she used to do their nails. 

Mum mentioned cookies sometimes, she used to hibernate in the kitchen. She died of diabetes apparently, she was also a great cook.

Not too cold today, I'll have to shave my legs soon.

Alan's staying at the end of May, I don't mind him staying except he's very heavy-handed. Also causes pointless arguments over nothing.

The stupid thing people's do on TV, like when they greet each other people bang elbows together; I don't understand that.

I sware parents back garden weeds sprout overnight, there's more there every day I look; we'll have to get gardeners in soon.

Some Hitachi trains have been taken off the line because hairline cracks were found. This is horrifying, as I might go on one to get to Teignmouth in June! These trains go fast 225ph! 

They should bring the wheel tappers back, apparently, pieces could fall off onto the track. So they took nearly all of them off for safety checks. 

God help us all.
