I completed one more thing on my bucket list yesterday, which was to visit the royal photographic society in Bristol. I got a lift with someone from the market square called Paul Rigg, who is a member of our camera club.
It was very interesting and gave me a lot of inspiration, I've sold one of my pictures from the exhibition at the art center which iPhone very surprising. I didn't think I was that good, so I hope it doesn't end up in a charity shop in the years to come.
I went to Bradford-on-Avon afterwards for short lesson's with Paul Rigg. I'm a bit worried you might think I'm a bit of an idiot, because I have a tendency to drive people round the bend.
We went into a posh tea rooms which is reputed to be the best one in England. Who is so kind because he said he didn't expect any petrol money, and we had a cream tea which insisted on paying on. I feel a bit guilty and feel like I don't deserve that sometimes. I have a tendency to chat too much and people find me weird.
The staff were dressed like 1920s maids, my grandmother when she was in service used to wear uniform like that when she was a lady's maid. The cakes looked very nice, but I'm still worrying about my teeth and my weight.
I got up at 7am this morning to put my washing on, I did a load of bed sheets and hung them out. It's been overcast all day long, even though the Met office said it would be nice and sunny. I'm doing my close tomorrow because I have to get them ready for next weekend for when I go away to Newquay.
I'm worried sick about Newquay at the moment, as there has been a huge spike in covid-19 to the news. It was because of that G7 summit that may had karma and also the parting which went on a boardmasters.
Several people who came from Cardiff have now taken the disease back with them, I don't want it. I can't cancel again because I've already paid for it, and I stand to lose £400 if I do do. I'm going to take 2 test kits with me and hope I can stay safe.
On the news the airport in Kabul was bombed yesterday by the Taliban, aimed deliberately at those poor people who are trying to get out of the country. Some Americans have been killed, along with British people including a child. Apparently also the Taliban invaded a hospital, and shot pregnant women nurses and patients.
Time is running out now, and I feel that many innocent people will be left behind in Afghanistan. There's an organization and their staff trying to get animals out apparently.
