Tuesday 10th August 2021

 Fine lovely day today decided to go to Winton in the morning and Bournemouth in the afternoon.  Winton is just outside Bournemouth, but I like it for the charity shops.  I was a bit late going, I had to sort my phone cable out as the base of it had worn away.  I can't use it like that as it could cause a fire or electrocute me, I went around Vodaphone as they are genuine as there is a lot of fake stuff out there.

I got talking to a lady on the X3 who was very nice, I hope she didn't think I was weird.  She lost her husband to Alzheimer's two years ago, like me with my dad she had to care for him and was relieved when he was no longer in pain. But I can't imagine life without mum and dad, it upsets me too much. I still think of gran, I'll never forget her until we meet again.

I notice that my left hip spasm's when I lay down in bed, which is to do with my disability, also hurts when I walk for long period's.  when I visit Teignmouth in October, I am hoping to walk along the seawall to where an old cafe used to be during the war.  I don't want my stupid hip interfering with that, also hoping to visit the old hotel where my parent's had their honeymoon in 1968.

managed to get to Winton, the Santana bank has closed and there are rumours that HSBC bank is also closing, ridiculous seeing as the nearest banks are in Bournemouth.  I found what I wanted in Wilko, but I always have to rush off to use the loo every time I visit.  We don't have a Wilko in Salisbury, and we should have one.  

Went to the seafront in the afternoon, it's lovely to get out to see the seaside.  the ice cream van was out and lots of people in boats, I see the Dorset Belle has returned for boat trips from the pier, I thought the company had folded.  

I still prefer Weymouth over Bournemouth.
