Bit grey this morning, I think the warm Weather could be coming to an end.  I went to a fate in Trenence gardens this afternoon, I bought some walking trousers first from Millets which owns Blacks the camp shop.

There is a retro arcade game in town, the noises of the space invaders bring it all back. They don't make them like that anymore.

I waited at the Western hotel for the land train, the event started at 11.00 and it was 12.00 before I got down there.  There was lots of craft stores and an all men's singing group which was good.  The cream tea I had at Trenence cottages was massive, so I put the rest in a doggie bag.

I went to Truro yesterday, got on a bus to the bus station although I can get a bus which stops outside the museum.  had lunch in the cafe, but it pricy so I'll go to a cafe in town next time.  The museum tickets enable me to come back for free next year, Covid hasn't ruined that yet,  

I picked up some picture string from the hardware shop, I love what they sell in there but the nearest one is at Swanage but it's not too good.  

Falmouth was nice to visit, my usual cafe I used to go to on the pier isn't as good as it was once, so I found a nice one called Susie's tearooms.  Their bathroom is rather unusual with Leema's on the wallpaper and a bright blue toilet seat.  

I watched a program yesterday called 102 minutes that changed America about the terrorist attacks on the twin towers, 20 years ago yesterday it happened.  I couldn't watch all of it as it finished too late, but I do remember that day clearly.  

I had just come in from helping John Webb with his shire horses that used to give tourists a ride around Salisbury, switched on the TV and saw something terrible had happened in New York.  I thought at first it had been a terrible accident when the plane had gone into the North Tower, then another one came along and hit the south tower.

Those poor people inside when the tower's collapsed, 110 floors all gone in a matter of minutes, A lot of it was office space including businesses like the New York Rock Exchange, Morgen Stanley, Xerox Corporation, Keefe, and the Fiduciary Trust.  one of that business was working with Sarah Ferguson.  She'd been working on the 101st floor of the North Tower but on that morning she's been filming elsewhere.  She'd been ten minutes away from arriving back at the tower when the attack took place.  

It's said that singer Micheal Jackson would have been in the towers if it hadn't been for a late-night call with his mother.  he'd been due to attend a meeting at the top of one of the towers, but he overslept due to the phone call.  Things happen for a reason.

I didn't get to the zoo today, the weather is supposed to be a bit damp again tomorrow so I might go to the cinema again and do the zoo in the afternoon, I'll have lunch at Bunters and visit the harbour.

It's going to be hard to leave on Saturday but I've got dates to come down in good May, I hope I'm not putting weight on, my belly {or rubber tyre as I call it}stick's out.  I thought one night I heard the rain lashing down hard one night, hope the weather is better in May
