Saturday 27th November 2021.

 Apologies for not writing for a while, so I'll begin with the news.  There's yet again another new variant of the Coronavirus this time coming from Africa, it's deadlier than the Delta called Omicron which is worrying.  I don't want another lockdown, especially over Christmas, we won't be going up aunt Joan's as the virus is deadlier up there apparently.  Only thing is, our stupid government is too slow!

I did a craft fair up at the arts centre today, I had been preparing for it for weeks then it blew a gale and sleeted this morning so not many people came.  I am concentrating on greetings cards and mounts this time, I will be doing the library in two weeks.  I went with mum for her booster a couple of weeks ago, she wasn't feeling very well the next day, we had to wait 15 minutes before we could go; I'm in for it in December!  I had my flu shot which wasn't too bad, school children have to have the Covid shot now.

A load of refugees coming from France died while sailing in a flimsy boat from France to the UK, twenty-seven died and the government had a COBRA meeting about it.  It's worrying because anyone of those refugees could have the virus, and these stupid anti-vaxxers aren't helping.

Dad fell over in the bathroom one week and couldn't get up, so he crawled over to the stairs and pulled himself up that way. His catheter keeps blocking, so the nurse has changed that.

At the moment I'm listening to the live broadcast through my phone and it's sounds worrying, lots of stupid laughing emoticons on Facebook.  They won't be laughing when they catch it, David my cousin in law caught it from an unmarked taxi driver while on the way back from Birmingham airport.  It's those sorts of people who will contribute to the fourth wave, I sometimes think this is worse than the Spanish flue; people didn't travel around too much then.

I bought a Google nest from Curry's because I like my music, and it sounds better than from my phone.

Anyone coming back from the red zone will have to take a PCR test and self-isolate, I bet some people will try and sneak past; I hope they get caught because we're all doomed.
