Like a spring day today, it is the 60th birthday of the WI, so we went to the Fox and Goose pub at Coombe Bisset village.  I had to go round another ladies' flat first to be picked up, she lives in a bungalow along Lower street in Harnham.  I've always liked Harnham as you get that country feel, but I still prefer Devon.  . The Fox and Goose isn't very far away if you have a car, went along the Old Blandford Road, there's a quaint mill type building opposite which must have seen a lot of history.   We were the first ones to arrive until the other's came, the pub has an open fire which I like as it brings back a lot of memories'.  I've changed my notification tone so I now sound like the 4th Calvary of the civil war.  My dad loves westerns and we watched Chisholm with John Wayne in, gran liked westerns as well. I had pie of the day and vegetables, the pie was nice bit I had to cut it in half as it was far too big; one of those American sized one's....

Putin said Russia would emerge victorious from the war. Now a bus driver from east Sussex, has volunteered to go over to Ukraine to help refugees and abandoned dogs. Its the children I feel sorry for, those poor darlings.  one 11 year old boy had to abandon his parents and travelled all ...

Today is international women's Day, also the day at 5pm when the president of Ukraine addressed a packed house of Commons from a large TV screen  A lot of them were sitting there with headphones, listening to the interpretation of the horror unfolding in Russia. They gave him a standing ovation, everyday terrible news is printed in the papers  Putin's already tried to bomb the largest nuclear power station in Europe, mum says he's worse then Hitler; I can believe that. To top is all two solders from England, one a Coldstream guard have eloped and gone AWOL! They've gone to fight in Ukraine so if they get captured they will be accused of being spies. And Sputin Putin will say the UK have declared war, then he'll press the button or lever what ever it is. Went to the community cafĂ© this morning, Pippa who was going to give me some contacts wasn't in. Met up with some others, went over to the Pantry partnership. For £5 people can choose their food, meant for people...
