Went for my walking group today from Elizabeth gardens, quite a few people turned up, my left hip keeps cramping up which is a bloody nuisance. We stopped off back at the Old Mill for a drink, the tea is nice and I shared it with another lady.
lots of organizations are collecting for Ukraine now, the Red Cross is asking for medical supplies, blankets and other such stuff. the papers say they are starving and running for their lives. The Russians shelled a direct hit on a children and maternity hospital yesterday killing 3 people. rescuers and civilians waded through debris and rubble, what sort of monsters would try to kill women and children?
Putin said Russia would emerge victorious from the war. Now a bus driver from east Sussex, has volunteered to go over to Ukraine to help refugees and abandoned dogs.
Its the children I feel sorry for, those poor darlings. one 11 year old boy had to abandon his parents and travelled all on his own to get to Calais in France. Our government keep delaying people from applying for visas' to enter the UK; they dither around doing everything like when they did during the pandemic. Countless lives could have been saved, but no they delayed and it entered the UK wiping out whole care homes and ripping families apart.
Photo's have been taken of people being put into mass graves, the trenches are about 25 meters long and morgues are overwhelmed with the dead. The bodies have been put into carpets and make shift shrouds, no family members were seen to say goodbye which must be awful.
Their saying Putin has Parkinson's and may be on Steroids, is it affecting his brain and making him madder the ever?
My neighbor Roy is in hospital, I hope he is ok. I'm keeping an eye on his garden, the neighbor's female black is cute although I might get her a outdoor scratching post. I would feel awful if anything fell on her, the terrier dog is like any typical little boy full of energy and running about; think he's got the canine version of ADHD!
