The heatwave has returned again, I'm glad I don't live in London as it's 35d there! I had the fans on last night, it was 23 all night long outside. I didn't go for the health walk this morning, I'd be surprised if anyone turned up this morning. They were suppossed to meet at Elizabeth gardens and walk to Harnham village.
Last Thursday they did a walk in Laverstock village, but I didn't go as I went to Weymouth instead. I got a later train and had to go to platform 2 and change at Southampton central, another family were on their way to Swanage so we went along to the lift to the other side to get the train coming in from London Waterloo. I have to sit in the first five carriages as the cars separate at Bournemouth, I took my French kinnitting thing. Its blue silk yarn which I hope to give to the crafty Girls in Salisbury, the annoying thing is that it twists and gets knotted which is a pain. My mum used to visit Weymouth with gran and grandad, aunt Maria and aunt Joan. Weymouth was a different place then because the Marina hadn't been built and they stayed in a B&B which was behind the railway station which is now a private house. I can imagine the excitement they felt as they travelled through the countryside through Branksome, Boscomb and Wool.
I walked past all the guesthouses along the seafront, the weather was glorious, a lot of the guesthouses have flags out. I see the paddle boats were out, they can be hired for an hour I think. I went to my usuel cafe called Upstairs Downstairs, the cafe on the corner called (cafe on the Corner) doesn't have that zing for me anymore and there were more people in Upstairs Downstairs anyway.
I found some wool in the shops and a vintage shop which did some very nice ladies tops, Just as well I had my trolley with me. Weymouth is nice to visit but I wouldn't want to live there. My X used to stay at a couples house in Portland In Weymouth, I didn't have a very nice experience with him and it ruined my trust in men.
My parents are having their bathroom done on Monday the 15th, the day I go to Teignmouth. I like the hot weather but some idiots are complaining. The grass round the cathedral is yellow like straw, theres a water ban coming in so I have started by using my water from when I wash and do the dishes which then goes onto the plants.
Been several fires in the New Forest and in America which is really bad.
I see on the news they have two candidates wanting to be the next Prime Minister. They should of had a public vote, not be chosen by other Conservatives! One lady says too many people are on benifits, she wants to finish building the Cross rail project. I don't see how that will happen as the UK is heading for a recession and there's no money to put towards the Cross rail, so she can bugger off.
That's how she will get the money by forcibly taking it from these 'too many people on benefits'. Rail prices are going up so no one could probably afford to use it anyway! Also the rail people are going on strike again. Everyones worried about the energy companies jacking the price up in October.
I come to SP2 cafe for a bit of company and respite from the heat, its like a furnace in the flats. The government are going to have to do something, because our summers are getting hotter.
One of my friends died today, she was a counselor for the Fisherton area. Her name was Mary Webb, i used to be part of her team when I was doing the quiz on Sunday evenings at the Duke of York pub In York Road, Salisbury.
I went to a care meeting at the White Hart Hotel, there was a man there from Wiltshire Health. A lot of people turned up and it was hard to get a word in edgeways. I have a friend called Andria who tends to butt in when people ask me questions, she has Aspbergers like me but she has a good heart. The only thing is when we are in a group and some one asks me a question she will interrupt and take over which is really frustrating. She doesn't let people speak, and I feel like shouting out 'FOR GODS SAKE< SHUT UP!
I'm looking forward to going to Teignmouth, I only hope the weather doesn't let me down.
