Today our  Queen was laid to rest at Westminster Abbey, the ceremony started at 9.00, but I got up to my parents roughly around 11 o'clock as I was cycling. I think the tyres need doing,  as they felt sluggish.

St Thomas's Church Bell was tolling,  and a huge TV screen was set up inside the cathedral.

The King looked tired and I thought he was going to cry, well he is burying his mother today.

The weather stayed fine a rainbow was seen on the Eve of the Queen's funeral at Windsor castle, also a ray of light.

Some people had camped out all night. Lots of people watched the procession in Bournemouth lower gardens, also in Christchurch and Pool park.

Westminster  Abbey was packed full of world leaders, president Bidon didn't stay long flying back to the states 2hrs after the service.

Lots of people threw flowers at the queen's coffin, eight soldiers carried the coffin down the steps to the car; must have weighed a ton. Also, the crown was on top of a purple pillow, wouldn't do to drop that!

The car drove to Windsor where it was a bit more rural. The Canadian mounted police were there, and so were lots of people on horses. They all had to march in time to the beat of a drum, the sound of footsteps and hooves seemed loud.

Windsor Chapel has the biggest stained glass window in the UK, Black Rod broke his staff which will go with the queen.

The service ended with bagpipes playing a lament, the queen loved Scotland. A Gun salute fired 96 times, the age she got to.

Her image was shown on the side of the opera Sydney house in Australia.

It's been a surreal day which must be recorded. The qeen said we will meet Again, and we will I'm sure of that.
