Tuesday 18th October 2022

I'm depressed, Thursday is my birthday and as per usual, it's going to be quiet like an ordinary day. I did think of visiting Weymouth, but according to my weather app, it's going to be thundery so that's put a stop to that.

I reacted to the covid jab last Thursday, I knew I would. I was going to have a lazy Friday, but mum rang up saying dad was sick. I got dressed and went up there. Called 111 and we waited for 2 hrs for the Dr to ring back. 

Mum wasn't strong enough to sit him up in bed properly. Dad got admitted to hospital in the Redlynch ward, At least the phone signal works there. The hospital was full, so dad was lucky to get a bed. Even as my & mum were at the bus stop, we could see ambulances parked up outside A&E waiting to get in.

A lot of people are reacting to the Covid jab, as they have included the Omicron virus.

I updated dads tablet and showed him how to get to his games, he forgot five minutes later.

It's not looking good for Lizz Truss she's going out soon. Some other twat will take over, God helps us.

I went to Penny's birthday party in the hall. We sang Karaoke, what a laugh. I haven't had a party for years, I'm not likely to get one ever. 

That's why I'm depressed id love a party like Pennys, but it isn't going to happen because no one gives a shit.

Penny lives in a lovely bungalow with another girl and 2 cute dogs. Maisy a Jack Russel and Daisy a Scotty, poor Daisy came from a puppy farm poor thing. And a black cat called Tinker who's also cute.

They have a lovely back garden overlooking a field until one-day houses are built on it.

The camp bed is too firm, so I padded it out; I never liked hard beds. Tinker joined us on day 2 at night, he likes curling up on the pillow.

I left on Monday morning and joined her at her Rainbow club first, they kindly gave me lunch. 

Lots of school kids from Lavington and Devises school got on the bus, they are.very noisy.

Went to Warminster today, I could have bought a birthday cake to share. But what the point if no one cares? No one does.

Had a talk about ghosts at our WI meeting, it was very interesting. I got a bit low thinking about Thursday, thought I would go to the WI meeting in Marlborough: but it's not happening now.
