Mum rang me up at 7.00am  as dad had a reaction to the Covid jab he received on Friday. About 4am he was sick and his breathing was bad, so she rang for an ambulance.

I was very worried, he texted me Friday afternoon to say he'd had it.  I rang up A&E when I got to the Harnham coffee morning,  they didn't answer at first. He's now on the Lavastock ward, I told them he was autistic and had aspergers when they  picked up the phone.

I worry about mum being on her own, so I text her a lot. Supposed to have a gardener come at 2pm, but I've postponed that.

Glorious weather today,  there's an event in Elizabeth Gardens called people in the park. I met Ann-Marie at Debenhams, we took our own chairs. Mines heavy which is a pain,  also took camera; felt like a pack horse.

Sat under a tree, the disabled toilets were locked yet again, they had port a loos; no good for people in wheelchairs!

I found the WI tent, I might also join the Sarum group. Love to join the Laverstock group, but I don't drive so can't get there. Its lovely walking along the town path, the sheep are all out under the trees.

I went to Alpinos at 7.15 as it was Matthews, Zoe and Sabeeths birthday. Lovely Italian restaurant; I got each of them a card from World of cards in the mall. Put my pink crops on, and deodorant in pocket

There was a karaoke upstairs, the children were so cute. There's an outside area for all the smokers.

I waited with Ann-Marie and her friend Richard at the bus stop.  This red car came past three times, with a exhaust that kept going bang. Fuel is expensive so their wasting petrol, could hear the exhaust popping in the next street!

Today I cycled up Carol's and Simons to lay Brians ashes to rest at a place called Shillington near Blandford. I don't think I've been there before, it's a rail station that's being restored, the surrounding green hills are scenic.

I shall muss Brian. Weird to think that the dust in the bag was once a human being.  I thought he would have been in a urn, but no he was in a white paper bag. I got a photo of him, and im keeping his front door key. I thought some people from Raglan house where he lived were going to come,  they didn't so they couldn't have thought that much of him!

I haven't seen Rob for a while, I reckon he's dead. Used to live in the same block as Brian, used to do the bingo evenings. Typical northerner used to sometimes get irritable, him and Brian fell out over fraud. They never got back together, strange to think their all gone now.

Brian was laid to rest between the tracks. Goodbye my friend until we meet again.
