I again haven't had much time to write, so I'll start from recent.  Today is the trooping of the colours in London, the weather has really heated up so those poor soldiers must be baking!  I like the heat so I get rattled when people start complaining, we've waited a long time for this, so when it comes people start bloody moaning.

I went to Bournemouth on Thursday, it wasn't as packed as I thought it would be.  There was a tragedy on Wednesday when me and Alan went to Waymouth, two people drowned after being caught in a rip.  Ten people got into trouble that day, some of them were jumping off the pier which I've seen before, I've reported it before but no one's taken any notice; now an incident has taken place.  The Dorset bell was impounded for investigation and they arrested a man for manslaughter who was later released.

It must be terrible for the families, one came from Buckinghamshire; people don't expect to lose people on a day out.  Some people on the beach were being stupid and instead of trying to help they were filming it on their phones!  One man had to have CPR on the beach before being taken away, The Dorset Bell will no longer be stopping at the pier.

I have joined the hospital gym, I went for my induction the other day to look at the equipment.  I have also joined a spin class, I'm happy to say I've lost a stone in weight.  I like the green at the hospital, its very quiet overlooking the countryside, which is fast disappearing in places.  It's only £20 per month to join because I work in ArtCare, and I intend to make use of my time there.  The spin class is upstairs and is hard work, but we have fans going which makes it easier.

Alan came to stay a few weeks back, I dread him staying because he speaks to me like shit and is very bossy and controlling.  I only let him stay because my aunt Joan might get upset, basically he's a pain in the ass; he's ok for the first couple of days then he starts acting up.  He is very negative and causes arguments for the hell of it because he has to turn everything into negativity and be in control.

We went to Windsor which is on my bucket list.  I've often spoken to Nicki my friend at SP2 about Windsor.  We had to get up early to get the train, I find I can get up earlier during the summer then Winter.  I had to book tickets for Windsor castle online, we got the last tickets at 1pm which was lucky as they could have been sold out.  We got the train to London Waterloo for a whopping £70, and had to go to platform 22 to get the Windsor Eton Riverside train.

The castle is in the middle of the town, Windsor is about I'd say the same size as a large town.  It's also under the flightpath of JFK airport and Heathrow, so every 3 minutes planes are coming into land; they are so low you can see the wheels down and I recognised Canadian airlines coming in.

The charity shops are very interesting, only Alan moaned that he didn't want to be dragged round the shops, what was he expecting to do until 1.00 then?  WE went to M&S and afterwards saw a parade of soldiers marching through which was spectacular.

We waited in line to get into Windsor, had to have are bags searched which is understandable.  The state room were awesome.  We passed the late queens and Prince Philip's tomb in the chapel, also King Henry the 8th and Queen Victoria are buried there, WE had to wait for almost 40m to see the other rooms, my hips were hurting but we did eventually get to the door.  Eton college can be seen from the castle where all former PMs and the royal children went.  The Royal family have been given a lot of gift over the years from different countries, plates made of pure gold encrusted with precious jewels and it's just jaw dropping.  All that opulence, and there's people out there struggling to make ends meet.

We had to look at the long walk

News Update:  5 people including a British billionaire and a 18 year old man with his father went down in a submersible called The Titan to visit the site of the Titanic wreck.  the expedition is ran by Ocean Gate tours at a whopping price. They launched from Canada

At 9.45am an hour and 45m into the dive, contact was lost; but no alert was given until 5.40pm!  This is horrifying as the air is likely to run out and it will be dark and cold down there at a temperature of 3c, the wreck is 2 miles below in the Atlantic at 12,500ft!  They think the Titan may be trapped inside the wreck. I think the rescue is going to be very difficult indeed, how horrible is that?
