People come into my life, people leave and I never see them again.  I haven't been able to write because I was having problems connecting to the WIFI at The Westward guesthouse, I feel guilty having to ask Rachel to keep rebooting it.  A car alarm from the car park just up the road kept going off last night about 11.30am, I heard voices of annoyed guests.  I've met a nice couple from Birmingham, although they sound like they are from Yorkshire, there's a lot of people from Yorkshire and Manchester here it seems.  The couple left today and gone to Paignton, I'm off to Teignmouth when its my turn.

St Ives

I went to St ives which was an experience I can tell you, we were supposed to get there at 1.00, but the bus was very late and we got there about 1.30.  I was worried I wouldn't have much time to do things, I walked briskly down the hill and came upon a lovely tea shop at the bottom by the church called The Market tea shop.  See things happen for a reason and if I hadn't been in such a hurry, i might have missed this place.  Lots of dogs everywhere as usual, there is a dog shop selling all sorts of canine stuff including doggy ice cream.  I wandered up to an old hut on a hill and met some very nice German tourists, I have a favorite beach just down the hill and today it was packed.

I came back round about getting onto 5pm and saw that the U2 which goes back to Truro was in, what a palava!  The bus stopped at Cambourne and the driver just vanished as he'd done his hours, and we had to wait until they could find another one!  I met a nice family who said I needed to get off with them in a village called Three Mile Cross (I could be wrong) they said If I went to Truro the next bus wasn't until 9.00!  The family were a German lady and her Daughter called Melina, they got off at Perrenporth.  The bus passes a huge campsite called Perran Sands which is owned by Haven, they have a little farm next door, Ive heard there's not a lot to do there.

I went to Falmouth, Dolly's my favourite tea shop has sold up and a man now runs it.  I'm planning to return before I leave to visit St Mawes, i hope to go on Enterprise boats.  it was a bit wet in Falmouth, I left about 5pm and got the bus back to Truro; stand H is for Newquay.

I'm reading another book by Peter Underwood called 'when ghosts walk' It's ok but I would like a bit more description.  The German lady who left yesterday said it would scare her reading things like that, there's been times when I have felt nervous especially reading about haunted airfields.

I sat around the harbour today, it was lovely.  Lots of people were in the water, someone on a jet ski came in and a yacht.  Occasionally a seal comes in following the boats, this is my heaven and I'm so going to miss this it brings tears to my eyes.

There's a quiz at the Western tonight so if i can connect, I'll tell you how it went.

Update:  The quiz went well through it didn't start on time I got 14 points, while one table only got 7.  There's a dog show at The Western on Saturday but sadly I'm leaving and moving onto Teignmouth.
