🌍 Went to the White Hart Hotel last night for my last Christmas party. The hotel was heaving with parties all day long, went to meet Salisbury photography club.   Spent all day today getting ready for Thursday, I'm a bit stressed, out as mum's been in a bad mood all evening. The stress gave me the shits and stomach ache, sick and tired of being accused of not coming up enough.  I'm really depressed, I feel trapped. I want to see my friends and go to events, but I feel awful leaving mum on her own. I haven't been sleeping well, and struggle to fall asleep.   I love mum but she becoming demanding, I can't help the buses being late. Reds sent a single decker at the most busiest part of the day today, 3-4 when the school runs start. Bus was packed, had a trolley full, most of my secret Santa gifts I'm leaving behind. A bloke from Southampton fell over on the bus by Roman Road cemetery, hitting his head. I was chatting to his partner when it happened, hope he's ...

The city was very busy today. Went round the cathedral this morning, there was a coachload of people getting off. Had Windsor Salisbury and the stones tour sign in the window. Going to see Wicked at the Odeon Sunday, sold out this afternoon the q was right up to the door! I want to see Gladiator 2 which is supposed to be better then the last one. Mum's eye appointment has come through on 17th December. Only thing is I've been invited to a lunch @ the Baptist church, & a dinner with Salisbury camera club. I'll have to give the camera club one up, even through I'll lose money.  Mum means the world to me, dad can't help as he's not here anymore. There's no one else to help apart from me.  I'm a bit stressed as I've lost a lot of things this year, including my beloved dad. Mums annoyed with me, but how was I to know her appointment would come through?  Also I have a prolapse which bleeds sometimes, it's weird as it vanishes wen I get ...

I'm listening to a John Barry song ' we have all the time in the world ', but do we? I find myself thinking about Teignmouth, and how I would like to be there. But I'm looking for a world that no longer exists, hasn't since I was 8 years old. I went to dig In talk @ the Playhouse today, it was about stones; exciting not. The Playhouse Had lunch with Annamaria and Catherine in Charlie's kitchen. Lovely restaurant in Endless street, used to be The Progress bar. Bit worried as Catherine was late, food was lovely. Went up the hospital for a scan, they didn't see anything wrong. Prolapse only shows when I stand up.  Watched the bad skin clinic with mum last night, got her into watching it now. Alan is now picking us up on Dec 19th, as he can't get time off work. So I got to get a refund for dance party, haven't told Annamaria as she'd go off on one! It was the budget today, don't know whist's happening. Bus fare gone up by £1 that's all I ...

My folder arrived, so I've now put some of dad's comics in it. He also has Robin Hood books, with Richard Green which was once very popular. I can't stop crying, I miss him so much. I'm never selling these books, they'll go to a museum after I've gone. Some Christmas stuff is in the shops, but I'm going to hate it. Dad's no longer here to enjoy it with us. Fisherton Street is finally finished, they've put a Padding Bear on one of the benches in front of the infirmary. He's very popular, how long before he's vandalized? I still remember Clifton Road, the smell of the gasworks. I used to stand at my bedroom window which overlooked the back garden. I was supposed to be in bed all tucked up, but I saw dad having a ciggies by the outside WC.  The glow lighting up, the outside WC had a light; no wonder people had chamber pots.  Wouldn't fancy braving the bad weather to relive yourself. Then there used to be a ruined building owned by the gaswor...

Last Friday afternoon I keep seeing floaters in my left eye. I was at the Vinyl café @ the Playhouse; was told to ignore it. I made an appointment at Spectsavers, who put in eye drops and scanned my eye. I could see the black spot or spots on the photo, so they sent me to the eye clinic up the hospital. This is worrying, as my dad had a detached retina in his left eye. He was sat in his chair when the vein went! I don't want that. They put in eye drop which sent my left to sleep, then put in a shield. Apparently there are floaters which were lasered, felt very strange. Everything was hazy afterwards. I'll be back in 2 weeks, they may have to do it again.  Dad once told me in 1968, while in Teignmouth on their honeymoon. That he went for a walk along Teignmouth seafront, and there was a huge silvery moon shining across the water creating a sparkling path.  I suspect it was what we call a Hunters moon, when we are all reunited again; I'd like to see that moon. Everyone comme...

Had breakfast in Costa today, the Salisbury City band were in the George Mall. Nice to see the sun again, Monday was awful. Never stopped raining. Threw it down from 5am constant. Was in the cathedral café after walking for health, we went round part of Churchill gardens. The rain literally flowed in waterfalls across the glass roof of the cathedral rectory.  Actor Maggy Smith died today. She was in Downton Abbey, and lady in the van. My neighbor Rita Right collapsed at the bus stop by the Odeon, ambulance came. I didn't recognize her at first. She looked a bit blue round the lips, hope she's OK? An ambulance was called and they carted her off. I Took photos at the Bemerton bash organized by Rise 61. They have done an amazing thing with the community garden.  An Australian guy was serving up ice creams, also have throwing and kiddie's archery.

I think it's important to write this before I forget. My aunt went into hospital at Salisbury, she kept passing out at mums. So she was admitted.  I remember following her out to the ambulance in the garages, I got panicked because they'd vanished.  Karl said the paramedics were not happy with me, because I'd rung the switchboard. What do they expect? I'm autistic, I didn't know where they were. Turned out she was anemic,  which must have been coming on when she drive from Rugby-Salisbury. Needed Iron pumped into her via a drip.  It was very hot on the wards due to the heatwave, then they moved her to a single ward where she was eventually discharged.  I met Alan of the train on platform 2, he shared a room with Karl who complained of his snoring.   Alan came to the hospital and picked up aunt Joan, Karl said he was missing his Netflix.  I said goodbye to them on the green and I sat on the bench feeling lonely whilst waiting for mum to come up to ...
