Monday 29th March 2021.

I'll have to stop taking Co-Dryzemol as it's giving me very bad constipation.  I was very unwell and had to go to Superdrug to pick up some med's, I practically raced home and managed to sort myself out, but it still wasn't out of my system yet  I borrowed 2 of dad's pills and they eventually did the trick.   From today six people can meet up, it's been a glorious day today and they are saying we may get a mini-heatwave.  I'm going to try camping with Serve at the end of April, so if the weather is like this it will be awesome!  They are going to Poole and Dartmouth, I've been looking at the kit on Amazon but I'd rather see it in the shops when they open. The council have stuck coloured bunting all along Fisherton Street to give the city more vibrancy, it'll never beat Cornwall.  I miss the seaside, off with my thermal's tomorrow and into shorts ( almost time to shave legs again ).  I had to put the clock's forward an hour which I hate,...

Tuesday 23rd March 2021

I had the back spasm from Hell last night. I stayed Saturday and Sunday up to my parents because my back was so bad, I had to get some milk for my parents from PO when I should have been resting it. Dad's very much into a series called Line of Duty, I did my crosswords instead. I love puzzles, take a break are the best one. So I went back to mine Monday evening. I went to bed early because the pain was bad. I couldn't move in bed because my back tightened up, so I called 999. The ambulances were mega busy and I was advised not to move for 2hrs! I was worried I'd slipped a disc or something. Two kindly gentlemen turned up. I managed to go to the loo, but I could hardly walk. I was really scared, especially as I live on my own in a flat. I need to use Fenbid lots more, co-dydramol I could do with the next level. Boris Johnson said the 3rd wave of the Chinese virus which is raging around Europe will come here! I hope he's wrong.

Friday 19th March 2021

France and Germany are experiencing a 3rd wave of the Chinese virus, so from midnight tonight, both countries are going into another lockdown. They had stopped the Oxford vaccination because it was causing fatal blood clots in some people. but it has been deemed safe so they have carried it on, but this could be what is causing this new fresh wave. Cousin Alan and Liz are having their first hand on Saturday, I don't know which ones they had it could either be the Pizer or the Oxford. Boris Johnson had his jab today. Was coming up on a single-decker bus yesterday. As soon as we got to Folly hill, the bus starting having trouble getting up. I thought at one point that the driver would ask us to get off and push! A Woman getting off said to the driver but he was having problems with his clutch, I thought no he was. I'm enjoying watching a program called Terror on BBC iPlayer. It's about two ships that set off in the 1840s to find a passage through the Arctic to China. They ge...

There was a big protest in London the other day over, a poor woman called Sarah Everand who vanished mysteriously in London. They found some remains in Kent woodland, which sadly turned out to be that poor woman. They have charged a policeman with her murder! Someone who should be trusted, and he butchers her 😡 A lot of women and girls are getting pretty fed up with being targeted by men whose brains are in their pants. I know not all men behave like this, but after what has happened, I'm afraid a lot of men will now be tarred with the same brush. Women have a right to go around minding their own business, without men targeting women thinking that they are fair game.  The media keep telling us it's up to us to be vigilant and not to dress up in attire that attracts perverts. But I don't think the problem falls to women, it is the problem of the men that cannot help themselves.  I think new laws ought to be made, including chemical castration for rapists and the snip for at...

My back got so bad yesterday that I rang up Three Swans, a Dr rang me back and prescribed me Codryzamol. This is more powerful than paracetamol, but it also causes constipation! I have to take one twice a day with food, backs are not so bad today so they are working. I have to sit Infront of my pc Monday evening for a camera club, so I'll sit up ramrod straight if that booster cushion doesn't work. People are now allowed to meet one person outside, shops and cafes aren't open properly yet. The silly plant keeps blowing over in the wind, stood it up twice, pot needs replacing as the frost has cracked it.

I had a zoom meeting with Human Henge, and Salisbury museum on Wednesday morning; I've had a bad back ever since. I have curvature of the spine, and it's a damned pain in the ass, or should I say back. It's like I have a severe knot of pain in my lower back, it can affect my walking and my disability makes me feel unwell. I was first diagnosed with the condition at age 7. I had a cold which just wasn't going away, after a lot of prodding I was sent up to the hospital. The nearest spinal department was at Southampton general, as there wasn't a spinal department other than at Salisbury hospital. Mum said that gran said I'd grow out of it (my disability). I wish. I and my parents had to get a train to Southampton Central and walked through a park. There's a memorial dedicated to the engineers who worked and died on the Titanic in the park. Those brave men kept the lights burning while the ship was sinking. We got another bus to the hospital which I think was in...

I had the shivers before bedtime last night, I didn't sleep well last as I got hot flushes. a lot of people who had the vaccination feel off-colour, and it only lasts a couple of days thankfully. Watched a film called the longest day about the D-Day Invasion. It's black and white and has a lot of famous actors in it including John Wayne and very young Sean Connery. Watched a lot of game shows yesterday, I don't mind them but some of the prizes on there are as old as the hills. Things like take your pick, and the price is right. Holiday spending money in the times was £500, you'd need a lot more for that nowadays. Even had a shopping spree to New York that showed the twin towers, the twin towers do not exist anymore as they were bombed by terrorists during 9/11.

Went to Salisbury cathedral for my jab at 11.40 today, I joined the q which stretched along the cloisters. I was shaking in my boots, but it's not all that bad. Now the nurses may go on strike because they want a pay rise from our crap government. I hope this doesn't interfere with the vaccination programme, I intend to have my 2nd jab before I go away in June.  A bit chilly in the wind, Jackie from Newquay called last night, hopefully, I've sorted something out for September. It'll be strange without parents, but I'll have to get used to it someday. Dews Road Sometimes I think about all the things my and dad used to do at Wilton Riding for the disabled.  Sometimes I can't believe Pat is gone, seems a long time ago but I'll see her again when it's my turn to leave this world.  But the most heartbreaking thing is that I will have to say goodbye to my lovely parents first, and it tears at me.  I'm not ready to say goodbye yet and it upsets me, but the ...

My first milestone is tomorrow when I go at 11:40 to Salisbury cathedral to get my first vaccination. I hope I don't get any nasty side effects from it, I don't mind a stiff arm but I have a fear of being sick and I hate vomiting which is one of my phobias. Great news today. They are found the individual who has the deadly Brazilian strain, it's been said in the paper that the Oxford vaccination does protect against Brazilian string. I'm praying to God that soon we will get back to normal. Ever since I started this blog in March of 2020, a lot of things have happened since then and I think I will carry on this blog. It's a lot easier than carrying a heavyweight book around with me. I used to keep a travel journal whenever I went to Newquay, I used to sit up late writing in it and my wrist used to hurt. Now I can just get on my phone and type it in, or say it and the words appear.  The only fly in the ointment is sometimes the Text-to-Speech mishears me and starts po...

I have booked a stay in Devon both in Teignmouth and Exmouth for June this year, so I hope nothing goes wrong and a coven comes back to ruin it. I've never stayed in Exmouth before, so it'll be a whole new experience for me. Also, a text came through inviting me to have my first covid jab at the cathedral. God must have heard me, it's 11.40 on Saturday, I think it's the Pixar jab. Bit grey today and chillier, I keep forgetting my stupid face mask. I forgot it this morning so to come back to my house fetch it, then I forgot it when running for the bus and had to come back to my parents to get it. I'm getting pissed off with all this damn forgetfulness. lots of bloody noise yesterday evening because they've now taken the cycle path from Brown Street, it was a waste of money putting it in there and the first place. I'm hoping to get the first two weeks in September in Newquay, Maria is supposed to be helping me write an email to Jackie. We better be quick, or t...

I can't believe it's the first of March already, time flies by.  I went up Lidle this morning and did some shopping for parents, there's still roadworks opposite the range.  I briefly heard drilling from Blue Boar Row last night, had to get off by the old army recruiting office in Castle Street.  Where Zizzi is now is where men signed up to go off to WW!.  My grandad signed up and lied about his age, said he was older than he was. A meteor flying over the UK lighting up area's, mum thinks it could have been the bang she heard the other night; I never saw or heard anything?  It was said to have looked like a fireball falling slowly to earth with parts of debris falling from it.  People have been told not to touch the debris, it'll probably turn your skin green and hair blue then we'll end up with some ghastly alien disease from another planet.  The meteor was spotted just before 10 pm, so it couldn't have been the bang mum heard.  They said ...
