The last bank holiday of the year went well.  Saturday saw me helping Serve on with the super fate and car boot held in a field just outside of Amesbury, the weather was a bit grey in the morning but it brightened up shortly.  We got the tent up and the burro on ( that's the urn for hot drinks ) running.  The dogging team came along as did many other vendors and forms of entertainment, the show opened at 11.00 but I crawled out of bed at 7 am! I hate getting up early I'm like a zombie.  My neighbour has purchased a couple of solar birdhouses which are supposed to glow in the dark, I haven't noticed anything glowing as yet. Barry kindly gave me a lift, we followed a satnav for a while until it got on our nerves.  Mick, Sam and Ed were there when we pulled up, it didn't take long to get the tent up.  I see that Johnathon the jester was there, he's a nice guy that does circus things.  I think because of my autistic way's he p...

I completed one more thing on my bucket list yesterday, which was to visit the royal photographic society in Bristol. I got a lift with someone from the market square called Paul Rigg, who is a member of our camera club.  It was very interesting and gave me a lot of inspiration, I've sold one of my pictures from the exhibition at the art center which iPhone very surprising. I didn't think I was that good, so I hope it doesn't end up in a charity shop in the years to come. I went to Bradford-on-Avon afterwards for short lesson's with Paul Rigg. I'm a bit worried you might think I'm a bit of an idiot, because I have a tendency to drive people round the bend. We went into a posh tea rooms which is reputed to be the best one in England. Who is so kind because he said he didn't expect any petrol money, and we had a cream tea which insisted on paying on. I feel a bit guilty and feel like I don't deserve that sometimes. I have a tendency to chat too much and pe...

I'm feeling a bit sad today, I had a nice day at Weymouth yesterday but today I keep thinking about sad things, I'll tell you in a minute how I got on in Weymouth. My parents are ( apart from my cousins and my boy ) all I have left.  After my parent's go my cousins won't give a damn about me and I'll be forgotten about, so I have to find things to occupy my mind   I'm the last one left of the Topp family, apart from my son who looks like Brian. I'm trying to prepare a talk for the camera club in September, it's slow going but hopefully, I'll have at least something to show.  It's about ghosts and hauntings in Salisbury, my nerves get in the way when I try to talk in front of lot's of people and I dry up.  My inner voice shout's ' SHUT UP STUPID. YOUR TALKING CRAP, BUT THEY'RE TOO POLITE TO SAY ANYTHING !' So I start stuttering and talking nonsense.   I feel awkward in Serve On Sometimes, their a fantastic group but soon even...

I went to Swanage today instead of Basingstoke, glad I went to be honest because I want to make use of the summer before it's gone.   Got the 9.05 bus by ex Debenhams should I say, the windows of the once-proud store are now boarded up.  Another business say they are taking it over, but I hear they are very expensive and already own another store in Romsey, The run to Bournemouth is quite nice and rural, passing through various villages like Downton, Fordingbridge and Ringwood.  Ringwood is the halfway point, dad used to go with his grandad to the auctions during the 19.50's the auctions were quite famous. X3 no longer drops its passengers in Holdenhurst Road but stops at stand 3 by the upper part of the gardens.  Got the bus where the X3 used to stop opposite Dingle's shop, I was expecting the open-top bus but it was a covered one.  I couldn't sit upstairs as it was full up the bus was bloody heaving, I was lucky to get a seat to be honest. ...

There was a horrid smell in M & S as I went to get a sandwich, a woman said she could smell it through her mask! It was like somebody had pooed their pants, it was rancid. Went to SP2 cafe, love coming here as I can chat to people about my woes etc, people have the patience of a saint to put up with me. SP2 Hope centre as it's called used to be Shergold's funeral parlour, I know because I last saw gran here. Where I last saw her, is where the toilets and laundry room are now. My cousins didn't see her, but I did, it didn't sink in until later that gran was gone, but only from the earth plane. My great aunt Francis stayed with us, I remember she was in the spare bed. A lot has changed, aunt Francis is gone now along with uncle Mike. I keep getting hot flushes, not Covid because I've done a test.

Fine lovely day today decided to go to Winton in the morning and Bournemouth in the afternoon.  Winton is just outside Bournemouth, but I like it for the charity shops.  I was a bit late going, I had to sort my phone cable out as the base of it had worn away.  I can't use it like that as it could cause a fire or electrocute me, I went around Vodaphone as they are genuine as there is a lot of fake stuff out there. I got talking to a lady on the X3 who was very nice, I hope she didn't think I was weird.  She lost her husband to Alzheimer's two years ago, like me with my dad she had to care for him and was relieved when he was no longer in pain. But I can't imagine life without mum and dad, it upsets me too much. I still think of gran, I'll never forget her until we meet again. I notice that my left hip spasm's when I lay down in bed, which is to do with my disability, also hurts when I walk for long period's.  when I visit Teignmouth in October, I am hoping ...

A bit wet today, I was sprinting a bit late to meet Catherine and had to do my finger.  The stupid thing started bleeding as I was about to put the ointment on so I had to rewash it and put a plaster on, I'm getting fed up with this now as I keep catching it with my other nails or banging it against things which hurts! I met Catherine in the small car park by the Baptist church on Brown Street.  Catherine is such a good friend, she has to have the patience of a saint to put up with my antics.  We went towards London because Paines Hill gardens is in a village called Cobham which is just outside the capital, I think it's on the way to Hampton Court and Thorp park.  saw a sign for Windsor castle, I hear it's very expensive there.  I was going to go when Alan came down, glad we didn't to be honest because he seems to get argumentative when we visit anywhere.  I rather he didn't come to my house, to be honest, sent me a text yesterday asking If I had told...

I went to a BBQ with Steam henge yesterday in Bulbridge which is a housing estate near the town of Wilton.  The people who own the house have a lovely garden and a couple of Bengal cats who are very vocal, they spent a long time working the garden but it's brilliant but easy to get lost in. Sometimes I get angry with myself when things don't go right, this is probably due to my autism, I've cried over my blog and also laughed too.  The most frustrating, g thing at the moment is that I can't get people to follow me on my blog at the mo, I must learn how to switch that on. I went to Bournemouth on Tuesday to Castle Point, I found a pink suitcase in TK Max, I always find something when I go in there.  A load of excited children went upstairs on the bus, it must be a huge relief for parents to be now able to take children out to the seaside after the blasted lockdown; I hope we don't go back into one! I now have a temporary Chromebook from CEX for blogging, it has to b...

Monday 2nd August 2021

August already, how the summer month's flypast.  The UK is doing well in the Olympic games, let's hope they don't bring anything nasty home with them! I took dad's tablet into PC World, they'll try their best to fix it. although all the dates may be wiped off.  I'll have to upload his games again.   China has gone back into lockdown again because of the delta variant of Coronavirus. I reckon we'll be in another horrible lockdown by the winter because our government ministers are so fucking useless and slow at doing everything.  So many people died in care homes who could have been saved, yet they were sent home from the hospital's to infect staff and other residents alike.  Parts of Spain are seeing a rise as well which is worrying.  China has had deadly floods in its subways up to neck height apparently, many people feared they wouldn't make it out alive because of the air supply, so they texted their will's and final goodbyes to families and ...
